- For the first time ever, Gears will launch on PlayStation, alongside Xbox Series X/S and PC, on August 26, 2025.

4K Graphics, Cross-Play, and More
- According to an official Xbox Wire post, Reloaded will feature 4K resolution, 120 FPS, and cross-play and cross-progression across all platforms.
- Players will get all post-launch DLC included. That means access to the bonus campaign act, multiplayer maps, modes, characters, and unlockables — all at no extra cost.
- The remaster builds off the content of the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.
Multiplayer, Co-op, and Free Upgrade Option
- Gears of War: Reloaded includes two-player co-op for the campaign and supports 8-player multiplayer.
- Those who already own the Ultimate Edition before the announcement will get Reloaded as a free upgrade.
Microsoft is also working on Gears of War: E-Day, a new entry in the series. A release date has not been announced
